In his current role, he and his team play a pivotal role in facilitating the Digital Transformation of Bosch by ensuring stable platform operations and developing forward-looking IT products. Wolfgang Klein, Director at Bosch Digital, oversees the Data Lake platforms, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the Data & Analytics domain.

Following his studies in Industrial Engineering and Management at KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) and ENSGI in Grenoble (France), Wolfgang began his career as an IT Consultant at Accenture in Munich in 2002. His extensive background includes contributing to large-scale IT implementation projects in CRM, supply chain, and data domains, as well as optimizing planning processes for multinational corporations. Since 2021, Wolfgang has been leading a global team of 120+ associates, aligning with the vision of “Maximize the value of data for Bosch” by ensuring the technology foundation of the Bosch data mesh. His responsibilities encompass continuous feature development, 24/7 platform operations, and driving the implementation of mesh principles throughout Bosch’s data ecosystem.
